The room we booked had a TV and air conditioning, which was great. We enjoyed the view from our balcony and the fact that the area was pretty quiet at night. The staff was helpful and friendly.
The location of the hotel was not ideal, as it was quite far from the city center and took a long time to walk there. The room we stayed in was very small and the shower was barely big enough for one person.

It is city central area and definitely very nice place to stay. The rooms keep very clean and well, design decorated, personal very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is also perfect what is included a drink, only 7 min. walking to the shopping mall and to the square. I will come again definitly.

Difficult to find something to like at the Vila Ani. Let's say: it's a nice construction in a quit area, outside the city.
At the arrival, for a couple of hours, no heat, no air condition, no internet, but they retained our passport and forced to pay in cash. At the departure, no breakfast until 7:30. More or less, everything was boring. :(

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Skopje. the hotel's location was perfect - situated on a hill in a good neighborhood with embassies around, it provided a peaceful and secure atmosphere. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with hot showers available. Another great aspect was the value for money - with affordable prices, this hotel provided excellent amenities, including basic facilities and a delicious breakfast.
All was satisfactory and met my expectations.

This is a best value for money in Skopje. The artistic decorated space deserves 5 stars for many reasons. It is extremely pleasant and comfortable accommodation in the center of Skopje. Staff is very flexible and they helped me find out everything I needed in Skopje in no time.

This hidden gem offered a great value for money. It was located in a quiet area, but still within walking distance of popular attractions and restaurants. the room was spacious and clean, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. I especially liked the fact that there was a balcony, which offered a great view of the surrounding area.
The breakfast was not up to my expectations. the selection was limited and the service was slow.

The hotel is located in a good neighborhood with embassies around and has a private area of the house. Taxis in the city are very cheap, making it easy to reach the city center. the rooms are spacious and clean, with a writing desk and necessary amenities like TV, air conditioning, and internet connection. the staff at the reception is friendly and helpful. the lounge area provides a nice space to relax.
There is no view from the balcony.

Most of the staff we dealt with were very nice. Place was quiet and clean.
Breakfast - yes, others have complained on Booked.net, and staff acknowledged that other customers complain directly to them. It is certainly enough food to get started, but sliced bread that is not toasted is not very appealing for breakfast. Hard-boiled egg and foil- wrapped cheese triangle give a little more substance. Packaged croissant is fine for me. No tea or coffee included is hard to understand. The saddest thing about the breakfast is that it leaves a negative impression on an otherwise decent hotel. I am not sure if the owner has done some math and figured out how much money is lost due to customers not returning vs. Buying a multi-slice bread toaster, and tea bags that cost practically nothing.

The staff were friendly and helpful, to the extent of giving us extensive tourist information and help. I understand why some people don't feel the place is comfortable and clean, but it's a budget hotel and in that context it is fine. The room had a basic bathroom and a balcony as well as being a good size.
As mentioned elsewhere, it's odd the breakfast includes no tea or coffee. The breakfast was also basic although I would prefer what I had to paying more for a bigger breakfast.

I had a fantastic stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel facilities were great, and I enjoyed the private area of the house. The location on the hill provided beautiful views of the surrounding area. Plus, taxis in this city are very cheap, making transportation easy.
All good.

Possible to walk ftom the center of Skopje, but it´s a bit up in a mountain, so maybe not to the elder people. Taxi to there is also cheap and easy. Small Hotel with few rooms. Hotel is clean and peaceful.
A bit funny is that any drinks (even coffee or tea) are not included to the breakfast.
